Pricing

What it costs

Our rates are published because you should not have to ask twice. They are the same for everyone, whether it is a laptop or a building full of them.

  • Diagnostics

    $55prepaid at check-in

    Covers a full diagnostic and a written report back to you. The $55 is credited toward the repair if you decide to go ahead.

  • In-shop & remote support

    $110per hour

    Applies after diagnostics or during a consultation. This is usually the minimum charge — we tell you before you go past it.

  • On-site support

    $165per hour

    We come to your home, office, school or campus. Additional charges may apply outside Tallahassee — call the office for details.

The $55 diagnostic is credited toward your repair. Parts are always quoted before any work starts.

Do you offer a support contract or is it pay-as-you-go?

Pay-as-you-go at published rates — $110 an hour remote or in shop, $165 on-site. There is no retainer and no minimum. Many clients have simply called us for over a decade whenever they need us.

Do you support schools and government offices?

Yes. Holy Comforter Episcopal School has used us for service and support for more than seven years, a University of South Florida office relies on us for fifteen Mac stations and laptops, and state government staff have used us at work and at home for over ten years.

Will you travel outside Tallahassee?

We serve North Florida and Southwest Georgia and have done since 2003. On-site work is $165 an hour, and additional charges may apply for appointments outside Tallahassee — call the office on 850-894-3622 for specifics.

Can you handle a mixed Mac and PC environment?

Yes. Mixed environments, PC-to-Mac migration and getting the two to share files and printers cleanly are all routine work for us.

What if a machine fails — do we need another vendor?

No. Repair, consulting and refurbished replacement hardware all sit in the same building, so a failed machine is one phone call rather than three.
