What “examined by our staff” actually means
Plenty of resellers mean “it turned on”. Here is what a machine goes through before we are willing to put our name on it.
- Full hardware diagnostic on the bench — the same one we charge $55 for
- Battery health checked and reported, not glossed over
- Storage tested and securely erased before macOS is reinstalled
- Screen, keyboard, trackpad, ports, camera and speakers all exercised
- Cleaned inside and out, with fans and vents cleared
- Charger included, and the machine set up ready for you to sign in

Call and tell us what it is for
Stock changes constantly, so the fastest route is a phone call. Tell us the job and the budget and we will tell you honestly what we have that fits.

Come and try it
Handle the machine, look at the screen, type on the keyboard. We would rather you were sure in the shop than disappointed at home.
- 03
We set it up with you
Apple ID, iCloud, mail and printers — and if you are replacing an older Mac we can move everything across.
- 04
And we are still here afterwards
The people who sold it to you are the people who repair it. That is not true of a marketplace listing.
Consignment
Have Apple gear you no longer use?
Ask about our consignment sales. We assess what it is realistically worth, prepare it properly, and sell it to someone in town who needs it — rather than leaving you to deal with strangers and a marketplace listing.
Before you sell or donate anything
Sign out of your Apple ID, turn off Find My, and have the drive securely erased. We will do all three for you — and if the machine will not start, we can still get your data off it and wipe it safely.

Buying refurbished — frequently asked
What does “Previously Enjoyed” mean?
It is our term for pre-owned Apple gear that has been through our own bench. Each unit is thoroughly examined by our staff, tested, securely erased and set up with a clean macOS install before it goes on the shelf.
What refurbished Macs do you have in stock right now?
Stock turns over constantly, so we do not publish a list that would be out of date within days. Call the shop on 850-894-3622 or come by 230 John Knox Road #4 and we will tell you exactly what is on the shelf today.
Can I sell you my old Mac?
We offer consignment sales on Apple gear. Bring it in or call us, and we will assess what it is worth and what it would need before it could sell. If it is not worth selling we will tell you that too, and help you wipe it safely before you donate or recycle it.
Why buy refurbished locally instead of online?
Because you can hold it before you buy it, because we set it up and migrate your data for you, and because when something goes wrong the shop that sold it is four minutes from North Monroe rather than a support ticket in another time zone.
Will you help me move everything from my old Mac?
Yes. Migration is billed at the standard $110 hourly rate, and most single-machine transfers fall within that minimum. We will also securely wipe the old machine before you pass it on.
